Blade Roofing were recently contacted to attend a leaking flat roof in Leeds. We attended and provided a free expert site assessment. Once on site we found that the affected roof area was over the client’s stock room. Following a period of heavy rain, the client’s valuable stock had been partly ruined. So the room had had to be cleared to prevent any further costly damage. We recommended one of our expert Electronic Roof tests, to ascertain the exact location of the faults on the roof. The test results proved that the roof had 15no. punctures and 6no. lap failures. There were also 3no. bituminised felt patches that had to be cut out and replaced, that had been incorrectly installed by previous contractors. We patched all the affected area using Sarnafil 150, the highest quality membrane that Sarnafil produce. Following periods of subsequent rain, the client has happily informed us that there are no further leaks and they are confidently using the stock room again.
